What should your client know about you?

If I take you on as a client I am truly invested in your well-being, I want the best for you and want to earn your trust in your healing journey. I do what I do with love and I will challenge you to show yourself the same respect and love.

What is your approach to therapy?

My main goal is to build a connection with you, to make you feel heard, understood, and accepted just as you are. I utilize that connection to guide you on your inner journey to understanding yourself fully, discovering the reason behind your struggles, and how to overcome them in order to live a more full-filling life. I cater therapy to meet you where you are at and what your particular needs are. We work together as a team to help you achieve your highest potential, healing, and happiness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Feeling validated, hopeful, and lighter.

What was your path on becoming a psychologist?

As a child, I lost my father to cancer and right away I felt an urge to grow up and save the rest of the world from a similar pain. As I grew older I realized that realistically I wouldn’t be able to save everyone but I could help those like myself who were left with the emotional pain. My passion for psychology was sparked when I took my first psychology class in high school, I knew right away I had found my passion. I majored in psychology in college followed by attending graduate school to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology right afterwards. I have loved every minute of it and it has been a rewarding journey.
