Grace Dryden, MSW Candidate
Intern Therapist
What should your client know about you?
I am an MSW student from USC who takes pride in my ability to go on the therapeutic journey with clients. I am interested in working with all types of people from every walk of life. I enjoy exposure to diverse cultures. I am excited to be a part of the therapeutic process with others.
What is your approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is to focus on the person and their environment. I will begin this focus by using CBT, MI, and PST interventions. I would like to be a source of help and encouragement to all that I encounter.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Clients can expect to take away from sessions that they were heard, and understood, and in a safe environment where they can express themselves while gaining the help they need and seek.
What has been your path to becoming a therapist?
My path to becoming a therapist started with my genuine want to help people. I have always wanted to be a source of hope and solace to others. Although I was not immediately led to become a therapist, my experiences collaborating with people in helping, guidance, and resource capacities led me to discover that I wanted to help people in more of a clinical setting.
