Biography

What should your client know about you?

“I am a compassionate and supportive therapist who believes that everyone has strengths within them. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a preschool teacher, which gave me valuable experience supporting children and families through early stages of growth and change. That experience still guides the way I connect with clients of all ages, and today I enjoy working with adolescents and adults in individual therapy.”

What is your approach to therapy?

My approach to therapy is collaborative and centered around clients. I work to meet each person where they are to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore challenges. I utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, and tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. It is important that we both focus on identifying goals, gaining new perspectives, and gaining tools that support lasting change.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect to leave sessions with a stronger sense of self, practical coping strategies, and a clearer view of their own strengths. My goal is for individuals to feel empowered, supported, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges. Whether it’s managing anxiety, depression, grief, or major life transitions, therapy can be a space for clients to reflect, grow, and move forward with more confidence at their own pace.

What was your path to becoming a therapist?

My path to becoming a therapist was both unexpected and meaningful. I started out as a preschool teacher and really loved supporting children and their families during those early years. Over time, I realized that while teaching was rewarding, my true passion was helping people work through emotional struggles and life transitions. That led me to change my career direction and earn my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. Becoming a therapist has given me the chance to continue that same passion for guiding, supporting, and uplifting others in a new way.
